Answer
Athanasius the Apostolic is a title given to the Egyptian theologian Athanasius of Alexandria by Coptic Christians. The title was given to him in recognition of his role in defending the doctrine of the Trinity against the Arian heresy. Athanasius was a leading figure in the Council of Nicaea, which in 325 AD condemned Arianism as a heresy.
