The Quad Axel, also known as the quadruple axel jump, is the most challenging jump in figure skating and the only quadruple jump that Nathan Chen has yet to land in competition. It requires four and a half rotations in the air and is considered the pinnacle of men's figure skating. Chen has come close to landing the jump several times but has not yet been successful in competition.
