A. de Herz (1881–1962) was a playwright and literary journalist. He was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and moved to France in 1904. He wrote plays in Yiddish and French, and also translated works from Russian and German. He was a member of the Yiddish literary group Di Yunge, and edited the literary journal In Tsukunft. He died in Paris in 1962.
