The Rashidun Army was the first Islamic Army and was led by the four Rashidun Caliphs: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali. It was formed in 632 CE after the death of Muhammad and was responsible for conquering the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Central Asia. The Rashidun Army was a highly effective fighting force and played a major role in the spread of Islam.
