Adam Parrish Wainwright is an American professional baseball pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is a three-time All-Star and a two-time Gold Glove Award winner. Wainwright was drafted by the Cardinals in the first round of the 2000 MLB draft and made his MLB debut in 2005. He has spent his entire career with the Cardinals, winning the World Series in 2006 and 2011.
