Alexander Rudolph, better known by his stage name Al McCoy, was an American singer and bandleader. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 22, 1921. McCoy's birth name was Alexander Rudolph, but he adopted the stage name Al McCoy in the early 1950s. He is best known for his work with the doo-wop group The Hi-Lo's, which he founded in 1951.
