  • Saint Aaron

  • Saint Julius

  • Saint Peter

  • Saint Alban

Answer

Saint Alban, or Alban, is considered the British protomartyr, the first person in Britain to be killed for their faith. He was a Roman soldier, and according to legend, he was converted to Christianity by the Christian priest Amphibalus, whom he was sheltering from persecution. Alban was eventually arrested and executed for his faith, and he is said to have died praying for the conversion of Britain.
