Answer
The Vélo d'Or (Golden Bike), or Vélo d'Or français, is an annual award given to the best male road cyclist of the year. First presented in 1992, the Vélo d'Or is awarded by the French magazine Vélo Magazine based on a poll of cycling journalists. Four-time Tour de France winner Alberto Contador has won the Vélo d'Or four times, in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2012.
