Alberto Fernández is a lawyer by trade. He studied law at the University of Buenos Aires, graduating in 1981. After graduating, he worked as a lawyer for several years before entering politics. He has been involved in politics since the early 1990s, serving in various positions in the government of Argentina. In 2019, he was elected President of Argentina, succeeding Mauricio Macri.
