Answer
Alexander I, also known as "the Blessed," ruled as Emperor of Russia from 1801 to 1825. He was the son of Tsar Paul I and Maria Feodorovna. During his reign, he implemented various reforms, including the creation of the State Council, aimed at modernizing the Russian Empire. Although he was an ardent admirer of Napoleon Bonaparte initially, their strained relationship eventually led to the French invasion of Russia in 1812.
