Alexandru Tzigara-Samurcaș served as the Romanian Police leader during his career. He was appointed to this position in 1919, and he served until 1920. During his time in office, he oversaw a number of reforms to the police force, including the creation of a new criminal investigation department. He also established a number of new training programs for police officers.
