Ferdinand I of Naples, King of Naples and Sicily from 1458 to 1494, was a member of the House of Trastámara, son of John II of Aragon and grandson of Alfonso V of Aragon. He was elected king of Naples by the Neapolitan Parliament in 1458, after the death of Alfonso V, who had no legitimate heirs.
