The Apollo 15 mission saw astronaut Alfred Worden complete 74 orbits of the Moon. Worden piloted the command module, Endeavour, while his fellow crew members David Scott and James Irwin descended to the lunar surface in the lunar module, Falcon. Worden spent more time in lunar orbit than any previous astronaut, conducting scientific observations and experiments and capturing stunning photographs of the Moon.
