Hannah Rabinsohn, later known as Ana Pauker, was a Romanian communist politician who served as Foreign Minister from 1947 to 1952. Born in Codăești, Vaslui County, Romania, she joined the Romanian Communist Party in 1921 and quickly rose through the ranks. After the establishment of the Romanian People's Republic in 1947, she became one of the most powerful figures in the government.
