Andranik Ozanian settled in Fresno, California, USA in 1922. He had been a leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) during the early 20th century and had participated in the Armenian genocide. After the genocide, he lived in Bulgaria, France, and Armenia before moving to the United States. He died in Fresno in 1956.
