After leaving Arsenal in 2012, Arshavin moved back to Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he had previously played from 2009 to 2012. He was a key player in Zenit's 2008 UEFA Cup victory, and was named the UEFA Cup Player of the Year. Arshavin also helped Zenit win the Russian Premier League in 2010 and 2012.
