Anette Olzon was born in 1971 in Katrineholm, Sweden. She is a Swedish singer and songwriter, best known as the former lead vocalist of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. She joined the band in 2007, replacing Tarja Turunen, and recorded two studio albums with them, "Dark Passion Play" (2007) and "Imaginaerum" (2011), before departing in 2012.
