ArcelorMittal Orbit is a sculpture created by British artist Anish Kapoor as a permanent artwork for London's Olympic Park. It is the tallest sculpture in the UK, standing at 115 metres (377 ft). The sculpture is a twisted structure of steel and concrete that has been described as resembling a rollercoaster or a giant roller skate. It was constructed in 2012 and opened to the public in 2013.
