Born in Bologna in 1560, during the latter half of the Italian Renaissance, Annibale Carracci is an Italian painter, draughtsman, and printmaker active in the Baroque style. Along with his elder brother Agostino and cousin Ludovico, he established a renowned studio that had an instrumental influence on the course of Western art.
