Yes, Toscanini did record many of his operatic and symphonic repertoire. He began his recording career in 1917 with the Victor Talking Machine Company and continued to record until 1953 with RCA Victor. During this time, he recorded over 400 works, including operas by Verdi, Wagner, Puccini, and Mozart, as well as symphonies by Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky.
