In 1891, a British man named James H. McNeill Whistler travelled to China. He visited Yunnan and followed the Yangtze River from there. He travelled for 30 days, and sketched and painted the scenery along the way. His paintings were published in a book called "The Yangtze River: Notes of a Journey from Shanghai to Hankow".
