A. L. Zissu (1880-1944) was a Romanian writer and political essayist. Born in Bălţi, Zissu studied law in Iaşi and later moved to Bucharest, where he became active in the Jewish community. He was a member of the Zionist movement and a supporter of the Romanian Jewish People's Party. Zissu was also a prolific writer, and his work includes essays, short stories, and novels. He died in Bucharest in 1944.
