The IPTN N-250 was Indonesia's first domestically produced aircraft. It was a twin-engine turboprop commuter plane designed and manufactured by the state-owned aerospace company IPTN (now known as PT Dirgantara Indonesia). The N-250 made its maiden flight in 1995 and entered service in 1996. It was primarily used for short-haul passenger and cargo transportation within Indonesia and neighboring countries.
