Beata Szydło served as the Prime Minister of Poland from 2015 to 2017. In the 2019 European Parliament elections, she led the Law and Justice party's campaign, which saw the party win the most seats of any Polish party. As a result, she became a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in July 2019.
