King Girvan Yuddha Bikram Shah died at the immature age of 17. He was born on 26 December 1815 and ascended the throne in 1847. However, his reign was short-lived and he died in 1847 at the age of 17. His death was attributed to a stomach ailment. He was succeeded by his younger brother, Surendra Bikram Shah.
