Bill Nye played himself on "The Big Bang Theory". He appeared in two episodes of the show, in which he was a guest lecturer at Caltech. Nye's character was a parody of himself, and he was shown to be a bit of a know-it-all. However, he was also shown to be kind and helpful, and he was able to help the characters of the show learn about science.
