Who replaced Julia Gillard as Prime Minister in 2013?

  • Kevin Rudd

  • Tony Abbott

  • Scott Morrison

  • Malcolm Turnbull

Answer

Kevin Rudd replaced Julia Gillard as Prime Minister of Australia in 2013. Gillard had led the Labor Party to victory in the 2010 election, but her popularity declined during her time in office. Rudd, who had previously served as Prime Minister from 2007 to 2010, challenged Gillard for the leadership of the Labor Party and won. He was subsequently elected Prime Minister by the Australian Parliament.
