Billy Donovan coached the University of Florida Gators men's basketball team from 1996 to 2015, a period of 19 years. He led the team to two national championships, in 2006 and 2007, and to the Final Four four times. He is the second-winningest coach in school history, with a record of 467–184. Donovan left Florida to become the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association.
