Ahmet Davutoğlu was the Prime Minister of Turkey from 2014 to 2016. He was replaced by Binali Yıldırım in 2016. Yıldırım is a member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), which has been the ruling party in Turkey since 2002. He was previously the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications from 2013 to 2015.
