Bobby Moore was an English footballer who played as a centre-back. He made his debut for the England national team in 1959 and went on to play a total of 108 games, overtaking the previous record of 106 held by Jack Charlton. Moore captained England to victory in the 1966 World Cup, and was later named as one of the 100 greatest players of the 20th century by the FIFA.
