At 17, Boris Becker won his first gentlemen's singles Wimbledon Championship in 1985. He defeated Kevin Curren in straight sets in the final. This was the youngest age that any player had ever won the men's singles title at Wimbledon. Becker would go on to win the Wimbledon title three more times in his career.
