Answer
Boris Tadić's Democratic Party (DS) formed a coalition with the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) to form a government in 2008. The two parties had been rivals for many years, but they agreed to work together in order to prevent the far-right Serbian Radical Party (SRS) from coming to power. The coalition government was unstable, and it collapsed in 2012.
