The California Storm was a professional basketball team based in Santa Cruz, California, and a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). The team existed for only two seasons, from 1971 to 1973, and played its home games at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. The team's most famous player was Slick Watts, who averaged 26.5 points per game in the 1971–72 season and was named to the ABA All-Star Team.
