In 2019, Baekhyun became a member of the K-pop supergroup SuperM, formed by SM Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members from different SM Entertainment groups: Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, Taemin from Shinee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas from NCT U. SuperM released their debut album, SuperM, in October 2019.
