Answer
Archibald MacLeish was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet, playwright, Librarian of Congress, and diplomat. He was married to Caresse Crosby from 1929 to 1942, and they were closely involved in each other's careers. Crosby published MacLeish's poetry and helped to promote his work, while MacLeish supported Crosby's publishing business. The two were also co-founders of the Black Sun Press, a publishing house that published avant-garde literature.
