Monterrey was the Mexican club where Carlo Costly played. The Honduran striker joined Monterrey in 2009 and spent two seasons with the club, scoring 26 goals in 65 appearances. He helped Monterrey win the 2009 Apertura championship and was a key player in their run to the 2010 CONCACAF Champions League final. Costly's performances for Monterrey earned him a move to Birmingham City in the English Premier League in 2011.
