Towards the end of his career, Carlos Valderrama joined Major League Soccer. He played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny from 2000 to 2002. Valderrama was a skilled midfielder who was known for his dribbling and passing skills. He was also a talented free kick taker. Valderrama was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2004.
