What is stereoscopic vision?

  • Seeing in 3D

  • Night Vision

  • Infrared Vision

  • Ultraviolet Vision

Answer

Stereoscopic vision is the ability to see in three dimensions (3D). This is achieved by having two eyes that are slightly offset from each other, which allows for slightly different perspectives of the same object. The brain then combines these two images into a single, three-dimensional image. This is why things appear to have depth when we look at them.
