Who was the first Brazilian to enter the International Swimming Hall of Fame?

Maria Lenk was the first Brazilian to enter the International Swimming Hall of Fame. She competed in the 1932 and 1936 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke at the latter. Lenk was also a world record holder in the 200-meter breaststroke. She was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1966.
