Chandrashekhar Agashe was a Maratha statesman who served as the President of the Bhor State Council from 1920 to 1931. He was born in 1880 into a family of wealthy landowners in the village of Bhor in the present-day state of Maharashtra, India. He received his education at the Deccan College in Pune and then went on to study law at the University of Bombay.
