Charles Richet, in full Charles Robert Richet, (born August 26, 1850, Paris, France—died December 4, 1935, Paris), French physiologist who won the 1913 Nobel Prize for Medicine for his work on anaphylaxis, a severe systemic reaction to an antigen.
