Charles Warren Fairbanks was an American attorney, businessman, and politician. He was the 26th Vice President of the United States under Theodore Roosevelt from 1905 to 1909. Before his political career, Fairbanks was a successful attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served as president of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1892.
