Charlie Brooker started his career as a cartoonist in the 1990s. He worked for a number of publications, including The Guardian, The Independent and The Daily Telegraph. In 1999, he co-created the satirical television series Nathan Barley, which aired on Channel 4. He has also written and directed a number of other television series, including Black Mirror, Dead Set and Screenwipe.
