Claude Henri de Rouvroy, better known as Henri de Saint-Simon, was a French philosopher and social theorist. He was a prominent figure in the Enlightenment and the early 19th century. Saint-Simon's ideas on social organization and progress influenced many later thinkers, including Karl Marx and Auguste Comte.
