Claudio Ranieri was born in Rome, Italy. He is a professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Leicester City. Ranieri began his playing career with Roma in 1974 and went on to play for a number of other clubs in Italy, including Napoli, Fiorentina, and Sampdoria. He retired from playing in 1992 and moved into management, coaching a number of clubs in Italy, Spain, and England.
