Kazim-Richards played for a number of clubs in Brazil before returning to the UK to play for Blackburn Rovers. He started his career with Palmeiras in 2007, before moving to Corinthians in 2008. He then had spells with Atlético Mineiro, Grêmio, and Sport Recife. He returned to the UK in 2014 to join Blackburn Rovers.
