Conchita Martínez Bernat, known professionally as Conchita Martínez, is a retired Spanish tennis player. She is best known for winning the women's singles title at Wimbledon in 1994, becoming the first Spanish woman to win a Grand Slam singles title. Martínez also won two Olympic medals, a silver in singles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and a gold in doubles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
