Constantine II was a Roman Emperor, who ruled from 337 to 340. He was the eldest son of Emperor Constantine the Great, and was co-emperor with his father and his younger brothers from 337 until Constantine's death in 337. After Constantine's death, Constantine II ruled the western half of the Roman Empire, while his brothers ruled the eastern half. Constantine II died in 340 in battle against his brother Constans.
