Representative Dan Crenshaw is an American politician and former Navy SEAL officer. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 2nd congressional district, which encompasses much of the northern and western suburbs of Houston. Crenshaw gained prominence for his military service, earning a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He entered politics after retiring from active duty in 2016.
