Danny Kirwan was born in 1947 and joined Fleetwood Mac in 1968, when he was 18 years old. He was a guitarist and singer-songwriter, and he stayed with the band until 1972. During his time with Fleetwood Mac, Kirwan wrote and sang some of the band's most popular songs, including "Albatross" and "Man of the World".
